From the Top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to Steilacoom! FABulous!

Molly Meyer (R) of Lakewood shares a smile with her daughter Jennifer (L) plus her granddaughters Myra, age 9, and Lyla, age 4, at the Topside Grill in Steilacoom. While holding a poster for the upcoming FAB Fest, Jennifer told her exciting story of having just returned from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, the famous three coned dormant volcano located in the Eastern Rift mountains of Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and stands 19,341 feet above sea level which is about 4,930 feet taller than our Mt. Rainier. The mountain was first climbed in 1889 and is still a major climbing destination.
