Whiz Kid's accomplishment: For the first time in school history, the election for Park Lodge's student-body president resulted in a tie. Albert and Dorien will run the school together next year as fifth-graders.

Whiz Kid's key to awesomeness: Albert and Dorien are both awesome kids who display leadership on a daily basis, said Kathy Parrish, Albert's fourth-grade teacher. Like any good politicians, the boys are already working together. Asked what makes them such great kids, the pair crafted a joint statement: “Our key to being awesome is being fun, but when we need to, we are serious.”
