Woman, 30, Dies Crossing SR 7 In Midland

A driver hit the woman as she ran across SR 7 around 6 p.m. Thursday, according to state patrol.

MIDLAND, WA - A 30-year-old Edgewood woman died Thursday night after she was hit by a car while crossing SR7. The collision happened around 6 p.m. a few blocks north of the SR 512 interchange, according to Washington State Patrol.

Angela Brumley was crossing SR 7 near 106th Street South. Brumley was crossing from the east side of the street, and when she reached the right southbound lane, Boyd Wolfe, 49, of Tacoma, hit Brumley, according to state patrol.

State patrol attributed the cause of the collision to "crossing roadway in unmarked area." The closest crosswalk to where Brumley died is a few blocks south at 108th Street South.
