5. In loving memory of Neva C. Thomas (Alton) Ormiston: 1937-2026 (chronline.com) — Longview readers are remembering Neva C. Thomas Ormiston, who was born in Longview in 1937 and passed away this July in Olympia. Known for her love of animals, deep church involvement, and generous handmade afghans, she built a life across Castle Rock, Alaska, and Lewis County, and is survived by close family after also recently losing her beloved poodle, Rosie.
