Alert, inquisitive and affectionate, Simon is four years old, gets along with kids and other cats and needs a new home.
in Houghton sometimes takes animals from overcrowded local shelters, and that’s how gentle and friendly Simon came to stay in Kirkland.
He is a sweet cat with the cutest little black freckles around his nose and mouth, Simon is four years old, easy-going and affectionate, He loves the companionship of humans. He is a extraordinarily curious and has the most alert and inquisitive eyes. He doesn't miss a beat as he gazes out the window at the shelter.
He is quite happy and content to sit in your lap or be held and it is immediately apparent that he has the most satisfactory purr! We all have our idiosyncrasies and well; his is drooling when he's super happy, mostly when he's being petted. Simon loves lots of stroking; he meows, purrs, and rolls over.
Simon will be curious and busy in his new home. He likes to explore his new environment inch by inch, looking out windows, and is happy to take breaks for some socializing along the way.
