1. Egging causes about $500 damage to residence (mi-reporter.com) — Recent Mercer Island police reports detail several neighborhood incidents, including about $500 in damage from eggs thrown at a Southeast 33rd Street home and a vehicle stolen from Shorewood Apartments. Residents also reported lost or stolen wallets and mail theft, while multiple people with Mercer Island Police Department warrants were arrested and booked into SCORE jail.
   

2. Islanders can now directly support Mercer Island police (mi-reporter.com) — Mercer Island residents now have a direct way to financially support local police projects and community programs through the new Mercer Island chapter of the North Sound Police Foundation. Donations via backmipd.org can help fund a $25,000 underwater drone kit for Marine Patrol, as well as events like Coffee with a Cop, safety talks, and officer wellness and training.
   

3. Influencers Make Their Mark at MIHS (mihsislander.org) — Two Mercer Island High School seniors are turning social media into serious side careers, building sizable followings on TikTok and Instagram while juggling school and the awkwardness of being recognized around town. They describe the grind behind daily posting, the pressure of public attention, and how more young creators from Mercer Island are likely to follow their path into influencing.
   

4. Mercer Island girls soccer snaps Liberty 10-game win streak (mi-reporter.com) — Mercer Island High School's girls soccer team just ended Liberty's 10-game unbeaten run with a hard-fought 1-1 home draw, scoring the first league goal Liberty has allowed all season. Players and coaches say the physical, confident performance proves the Islanders can contend in the playoffs as they head into four remaining regular-season matches against KingCo Crest rivals.
