Girls Select Fastpitch Softball Tryouts

The Flame Fastpitch girls select softball program has announced their tryout schedule for the 2012-2013 season.

Eight Mercer Island girls played in the Flame Fastpitch program last year. Little League and select softball are two separate entities that cooperate in order allow girls to play in both programs.

Girls born from 1996-2003 are eligible to tryout in four different age groups.

All tryouts will be held at Dodds Fields 565 NW Holly Street, Issaquah, Wa.

• Ages 9-12 (born Jan. 2002 or later)

Thursday, August 9th 5-9PM and Saturday, August 11th 10AM-2PM

• Ages 13-16 (born in years 1996-1999)

Friday, August 10th 5-9PM and Saturday, August 11th 10AM-2PM

Players are asked to register on the website ahead of tryouts.
