Congratulations to Mercer Islander Morgan Peyou, and her 14U fastpitch softball team, the Bellevue Blast for taking first place in the Sudden Impact tournament this past weekend.
Saturday fields were deemed unplayable, resulting in all games being played Sunday. The 14U Bellevue Blast went on to win all six games played on Sunday to earn the championship.
The 16U Bellevue Blast team played up in the 18U bracket and lost in the semi finals. Fellow Mercer Islander Makenna Pellerin plays for the 16U Bellevue Blast.
