Molly Moon and Girl Scouts Seek Ice Cream Recipes

Attention girls in grades K-12! Looking for a sweet activity to do with your friends and family? Take the Eat Local, Eat Organic Challenge, and you could win some cool stuff!

Molly Moon believes in the Girl Scout mission of making the world a better place, and does so every day in her stores by using local and, when available, organic ingredients. This made Ms. Moon a natural partner for Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s Eat Local, Eat Organic challenge, and now ALL girls in western Washington can benefit from this sweet partnership by creating their own ice cream using just five ingredients that are local and, if possible, organic!

Girls are invited to send their recipe, along with a photo of the finished product, to stefaniece@girlscoutsww.org. The top five winning recipes will receive free copies of Molly’s new cookbook, Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream, and two free tickets to GirlFest, Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s daylong celebration of everything cool about being a girl. Check out our ice cream page for full information!
