Baseball: Select U10s Take Honors at Pasco Tournament

Over the Memorial Day weekend, stormed through the competition to win five games and the championship. 

The 10U bracket contained twelve teams from around the state, and the 10 Thunder emerged from pool play with a 44 to 4 run differential. 

The 10U Thunder dispatched Sammamish Green in the semi-finals by the score of 9 to 3, and followed that with a 9 to 1 victory over Kennewick in the championship game.

The Islanders set the tone for the tournament in the first game pounding out over 15 hits, including 3 home runs. This select group of sluggers also won the Pasco tournament the prior year in the 9U category, coupled their hot bats with strong pitching and defense throughout the tournament to repeat as champions.
