When a wet Northwest spring gives you moss, make moss gardens. I have been going a little nutsy making mini moss gardens. A piece of bark can be lined with a little soil, ground cover and moss and become a centerpiece or a filler for a bare spot in the garden. A moss wreath can be filled with sedum and live year long on your gate or on a table with a candle in the middle. The birdhouse is made of old fencing and sports a living roof.
Just wanted to spread a little garden cheer and encourage you to look at the things around you and imagine what they could become.
