Friends of Mercer Island Book Sale (The Friends) will hold a Mini Book Sale TUESDAY (5pm-8Pm), all day July 21, July 22nd, July 23rd, July 24th, July 25th and July 26th – all during open library hours
More than a thousand books will be on sale on various topics. There will also be a selection of old and classic books, DVDs, and CDs of all genres.
The role of Friends is to generate funds for the Mercer Island Branch of the King County Library System. Funds raised are used to sponsor a variety of events and programs, such as author appearances, children’s story times, teen discussions, opera appreciation, and more. The Friends also support library events by purchasing special equipment needed for the events.
Books sold at the sale are donated by local families and are collected year-round. Please remember to donate your books to our library.
The sale will be held from Tuesday July 21st 5pm-8pm PM and continue until Sunday July 26th at 8PM
