Covenant Shores Appoints New Human Resources Director

Eileen Fletcher is the new Human Resources Director for Covenant Shores, a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community

With a background in non-profit and healthcare organizations, Eileen Fletcher searched for a human resources position within a company whose employees saw the value in serving others. Fletcher says she found just what she was looking for at Covenant Shores, a faith-based, not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities.

“The Covenant Shores environment is extremely supportive, nurturing and respectful,” Fletcher says. “Those are ingrained values, and while it partially comes from Covenant being a faith-based organization, I think it goes beyond that. It is part of the DNA here to treat everyone, both residents and employees, with respect and courtesy.”

Fletcher previously worked as a human resources manager for an organic herb farm and later for an agency that served children with special needs. Fletcher’s 20-year-career as a human resources professional, and her dedication to working with a vulnerable population, established her as a standout candidate for the role as human resources director, according to Bruce Erickson, Executive Director of Covenant Shores.

Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources. Her credentials include certification as Senior Professional in Human Resources and as Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional.
