The Mercer Island Sister City Association and the Mercer Island Arts Council will co-host this French film night with introduction and post commentary by Lance Rhodes, an instructor of cinema studies at the University of Washington. French Filmmaker Agnes Varda, Grande Dame of the French New Wave, has made this 2001 aclaimed non-fiction film, a self-described "wandering-road documentary." Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be available in the lobby prior to the showing.
