It’s Bee Season again at Islander Middle School! The annual All-IMS Spelling Bee will take place on March 8th, 2012, at 3 pm in the IMS Library. This exciting and popular event is the first round of Bees that culminate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, held in Washington DC in June and televised on ESPN.
The All-IMS Spelling Bee is open to students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Contestants can qualify to compete through a classroom qualifying Bee, or by participating in one of the Library Qualifying Rounds, held during student lunch periods.
