Let's Say Thanks

The “Let’s Say Thanks” Program Supports U.S. Troops This Holiday Season!

The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department is encouraging the community to “Say Thanks” to the men and women serving our country during this holiday season.

Xerox has supplied the Mercer Island Community and Event Center (MICEC) with a supply of their specially designed postcards.  Participants are invited to express their thanks on the post card and return it to a collection box located inside the lobby of the MICEC.  Postcards can be dropped off until December 31.  In conjunction with the Give2TheTroops organization, Xerox will collect and send the postcards in care packages to troops around the globe.

The overall mission of the “Let’s Say Thanks” campaign is to provide a way for people across the country to recognize U.S. troops stationed overseas.
