Letterboxing is a fun way to explore the outdoors on Mercer Island! Letterboxes are hidden in Pioneer Park, and it’s your job to find them. Follow the clues through the forest, and make a print of the hidden stamps in your Clue Book.
Letterboxing is FUN and challenging! Following these steps to get started:
- Pick up a Clue Book from the following locations: the Community & Event Center, Luther Burbank Park Office, the Boys and Girls Club, South end Starbucks.
- Buy or carve your own stamp.
- Go to Pioneer Park and get hunting!
When you are completed with your Clue Book you can turn it into the Community Center, the Boys and Girls Club or the office at Luther Burbank Park. Turn it in by August 31 to be recognized at a get together.
