Create a mosaic masterpiece using tumbled glass, glass/mirror tile and accent gems. Learn fundamental mosaic techniques including, cutting and tumbling glass, drawing for mosaics, tile-setting and grouting. Beginning with a brief history of mosaics, design and color theory, students will learn by doing in this hands-on mosaic program. Original mosaic creations will be suitable for hanging. All materials provided. No experience necessary. (Small class size, Grades 4th - 8th)
Also: We will be disigning and creating a piece of public art for the PEAK facility!
