The Bong Biz, a free lecture at Mercer Island Community Center March 23rd from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. features Daniel J. Bissonnette, a local expert chemical dependency professional, educator and counselor. This is a hard hitting presentation that looks at drugs of abuse and their impact on teenagers with discussion about the kinds of drugs that are out there today.
Participants can learn up-to- date science about why some kids seem to develop drug problems and why some don't. Acutal paraphernalia will be presented, including many household products, which will be shown and "demonstrated." There will be plenty of time for Q and A.
