Volunteer ecological restoration event at Luther Burbank

Calling all volunteers to remove invasive weeds at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island this Saturday!

Greenway volunteers have improved ecological health and planted native trees and shrubs in parks on Mercer Island for over a decade. To volunteer, visit mtsgreenway.org/volunteer.

The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust is the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the landscape between Puget Sound and central Washington, including the natural lands, rivers and communities.

The Greenway Trust is currently leading a bipartisan campaign to have the U.S. Congress designate the Greenway as a National Heritage Area. To support this initiative, visit greenwayheritage.org.
