Fire On Mercer Island Draws Multiple Units
Firefighters from Bellevue and Mercer Island were working on a house fire Wednesday night along 96th Avenue Southeast.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - Multiple fire units were responding to a fire on Mercer Island Wednesday night. Firefighters from Mercer Island and at least four units from Bellevue were heading to the scene of the fire. The fire was burning along the 4100 block of 96th Avenue Southeast, according to Bellevue firefighters.
Around 6:15 p.m., Bellevue fire reported that the blaze was under control, but units would be on-scene assisting with cleanup.
The scene of the fire is in a heavily residential neighborhood on the east side of the island south of the Stroum JCC.
