The Flame Fastpitch 12U team competed this past weekend in the ASA Sudden Impact Invite held at the Sprinkler Resource center in Parkland, Washington. The team competed against A level teams from Washington state and Canada.
The team, which is a mix of girls born '01 and '00, beat Seattle Spice 12U in the semi finals and the Washington Patriots '00 in the championship game to win the Silver bracket.
The team is coached by Taia Walters, Caitlyn Paus, and Liz Pearse. Members of the team are: Julia Go, Grace Lis, Cassidy Brickman, Samantha Simmons, Baillie Stewart, Lexie Rose, Gracee Gorrell, Katie Clary, Meara Gants and Mercer Island residents Natalie Wilson, Angelina Barokas, Hannah Kelley, and Emily Rowe.
