General Election Day is Tuesday: Where Do I Turn In My Ballot?

Ballots are due to the county or need to be postmarked by Nov. 8.

The King County General Election is Tuesday Nov. 8. Don't forget to turn in your ballots and be counted!

Ballots are due to the county or need to be postmarked by Nov. 8. There are 11 drop boxes in King County, but none are located on Mercer Island — the closest locations are in Seattle and Bellevue. The deadline to use a drop box is 8 p.m. on Election Day, Aug. 16. Visit the King County Elections Web site for a full list of the drop box locations. That drop box will be closed after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

King County has an all mail-in ballot, although voters with disabilities may vote in person at the King County elections Office in Renton from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Accessible voting units offer lap paddles and sip-and-puff devices, as well as audio, and large and high-contrast text options. All voters may use the accessible voting centers, though identification and signature will be required to vote in person.
