Golden Retriever Found At Mercer Island Park

MERCER ISLAND, WA - If you're missing an exceptionally sweet looking golden retriever, he's hanging out at a local pet store.

Mercer Island police say the dog was found running loose at Mercerdale Park south of the downtown area. He's being held at the Mud Bay store nearby the park along 77th Avenue. The dog was found without a collar or microchip.

The Mud Bay employees can only hold on to the dog until 9 p.m. Wednesday, at which point he will be dropped off at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue. If you know who the dog belongs to - or are the owner yourself - you can contact the Mud Bay store or leave a message on the Mercer Island police department's Facebook page.
