Islander FC, Mercer Island's Premier Soccer Club, announces a HUGE TRIUMPH for the club. Our U9 Boys "A" team, played neck and neck with the ISSAQUAU GUNNERS BU9 "A" TEAM, during this past weekends ISSAQUAH SOCCER CLUB INVITATIONAL!
The final was an exciting time for the parents and the boys. The commitment from the boys during their training season after season was viewed in full capacity by all the spectators. Until the last few minutes our Islander FC Boys held their intention and not until a few minutes before the whistle....were they awarded the 2nd Place Medals!
These boys and UNSTOPPABLE! Our Fall League Season begins in September...WATCH OUT!
