Lindquist Declares For UW Huskies

Highly-touted Mercer Island quarterback Jeff Lindquist has declared his intent to attend the University of Washington in the fall of 2012, the Seattle Times reports.

, a junior, was considering overtures from school officials from both UW and Stanford University, where his older brother is enrolled and plays baseball. He was set to announce his decision on Sunday but dispensed with the speculation in the announcement.

According to the Seattle Times:

"I sat down and talked to my parents (Tom and Juli) last night and we kind of figured it out and were like, 'let's just get this done,''' he said.
