If you haven’t had a chance to play in the snow yet, this is the last weekend the Mount Rainer snowplay area at Paradise will be open. Ranger guided snowshoe walks are also offered on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. There are 2 scheduled walks, at 11:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Meet inside Paradise’s Jackson Visitor Center, near the information desk. Sign-ups begin 1 hour in advance of the scheduled walk time. Make sure to check on weather conditions before heading up to Paradise, and visitors are required to carry chains in their car during winter months, as a precaution.
If you in search of your own personal Paradise, open houses may be on your weekend agenda. Three Windermere Real Estate/Mercer Island listings will be available to preview on Sunday, March 30th, 1-4pm. A fourth listing, a new-to-market home in Kirkland, will be open on Saturday and Sunday, 1-4pm. On Mercer Island, a redesigned one-level home on the Northend and a Modern Waterview home located on the Southend will be open. This is the 1st open house weekend for both listings! Outdoor enthusiasts, an elegant home nestled on your own personal 10.48 acre hiking playground in Fall City is going to be open as well. Details about each open house are below, by city.
