Two great Mercer Island annual events are scheduled this Saturday.  Since 1966, the Mercer Island Preschool Association has hosted their annual Circus. This year, the fun begins at 10 am at Mercer Island High School. The event runs until 2pm, and admission is free. There is a cost for game tickets, and food trucks will be on hand for you to purchase a bite to eat. Children, ages 2-8, and their families will enjoy Dizzy’s Tumble Bus, pony rides, bouncy houses, and much more. The annual city event, Leap for Green, is scheduled for 12 -4pm at Mercer Island Community & Event Center. This year’s theme is Learn – Act – Impact. The childrens’ activities, entertainment and information sessions are planned around the theme, so island residents can learn, then act and impact sustainability in the Mercer Island community. Check out the electric car test drives and enter a raffle to win a 2-year lease. Learn more about urban farming, solar energy and pick up a free reusable shopping bag.

An important weekly event for agents in the Windermere Real Estate/Mercer Island office are open houses. This weekend, 6 open houses are on tap. In Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood, a lovely 1906 gem with renovations to fit today’s life style will be open for the first time.
