Mercer Island Election Update: New Ballot Count Changes Races
King County released a new ballot count Wednesday, shaking up some local races.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - King County released updated votes counts Wednesday afternoon, and the numbers changed significantly in several key elections. King County Sheriff candidate Mitzi Johanknecht pulled ahead of incumbent Sheriff John Urquhart, and the Associated Press called the 45th Legislative District race in favor of Democrat Manka Dhingra.
