I’m still dismayed to see many Mercer Islanders petitioning for “adequate” temporary facilities that will/would be needed if this unnecessary remodeling goes ahead. The disruption will be far more than is predicted. Look at how slowly the South End Fire Station is proceeding. This architect knows how projects like these can drag on- and often do. JG-
