MICEC FRONT PLAZA WORK SET TO BEGIN AUGUST 31, 2015
The Mercer Island Community and Event Center (MICEC) will be undergoing restoration and repair to the front plaza area of the building. Work is scheduled to be performed from August 31 through September 4, with work occurring between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We anticipate no interruptions for our visitors and patrons.
Site plans include amending soil conditions for surviving and newly planted trees and shrubs. Diseased and dead trees will be removed from the front landscape, with a new “heirloom” tree to be planted in the grass south of the plaza.
