MICEC's Seasonal Indoor Playground Resumes this Fall
Indoor Playground is offered Sept. - May, and is intended for children up to the age of six, with parent or caregiver supervision required.

It’s that time of year!
Beginning September 8, the Mercer Island Community and Event Center (MICEC), in conjunction with the Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department, resumed its popular program, Indoor Playground.
Offered annually, September through May, Indoor Playground is an in-demand program enjoyed by children up to the age of six.
Indoor Playground provides young people with a chance to socialize with others and play with balls, scooters, blocks and other toys. A parent or caregiver must provide supervision of children at all times, and parent or caregiver assistance is needed for set-up and take-down of the toys. The standard Indoor Playground schedule is as follows:

Monday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Friday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Mercer Island Community and Event Center, also known as “The MICEC”, is located at 8236 SE 24th Street on Mercer Island, Washington with standard operating hours Monday to Thursday from 7:00am to 9:00pm, Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The MICEC is a modern facility that features the Mercer Room - a 3,335 square foot banquet room, five individual meeting rooms that each accommodate approximately fifty guests, a full-size gymnasium, dance room and fitness center.
