The Mercer Island Soccer Club Boys U14 team won the boys U14 Division 1 Puyallup Valley Kick-Off Tournament over Labor Day weekend. After losing 2-4 against a Pac NW team in group stage play, the team managed to advance to the finals as the #2 seed, where they once again met the team from Pac NW. After 3 quick 1st half goals, the Mercer Island team held on to win 4-2 to claim the tournament title.
