'No Toll I-90 Rally' set for Saturday at Deck Lid Park

(MERCER ISLAND, WASH) October 22, 2013--In an effort for King County and other residents to show their enraged feelings toward the State of Washington's Dept. of Transportation  continued pressure to toll the I-90 East Channel and the I-90 Floating Bridge a 'No Toll I-90 Rally' and bridge walk is planned for this Saturday, Oct. 26, 10:30a at Mercer Island's "Deck Lid" park located at I-90 and West Mercer Way.

The Rally is planned for residents and others to bond as a community and discuss the tolling as a community, not in the sterile, on-directional meetings that state has manipulated the past few months.

Local Mercer Island City officials and others have been invited to participate in the 'No Toll I-90 Rally.'

Although WASHDOT public statement meeting held Monday on Mercer Island  has passed, residents are encouraged write a letter to WASHDOT on how their proposed tolls will effect the life and family.  Letters can be sent to:

I-90 Tolling, 999
Third Ave #2200, Seattle, Wash. 98104 –postmarked by Nov. 6.
