Patch Picks: St. Patricks Day

Here's this week's pick for where to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

1. Mercer Island Florist is selling lovely St Patrick's Day bouquets for anywhere from $30-$65, delivered, just in case you forgot to wear something green, or book dinner reservations for corned beef and cabbage at one of these local eateries.
2. Pub is hosting a St Patrick’s Day supper special, with corned beef and cabbage or sheperds pie, beer and mixed drink specials from $3-$9 and “Guiness Giveaways,” from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on March 17.
3. The is legendary for their crowd of partiers, and St Patrick’s Day is no exception, with corned beef and cabbage on offer at #13.95, green beer for $3.50, shamrock champagne for $6 and Irish coffee for $6.75.
4. plans a special Irish supper of beef braised Irish stew, colcannon (a side dish of mashed potatoes with bacon and cabbage) followed by Guiness chocolate pudding. The supper will run $16 and the pudding $8, plus there will be Irish “green” drink specials all evening on March 17.
5. In Seattle, there will be St Patricks Day parties at Paddy Coyne’s Irish Pub, Kells Irish Restaurant and Pub and Fado Irish Pub to name but a few of the most popular places for an Irish “craic” or celebration.
