With fall weather upon us, it's time again to think ahead for spring. One way to stave off the chill is picking up your free Daffodil bulbs on Mercer Island this weekend. Coldwell Banker Bain's Mercer Island office will be giving out bulbs this Saturday, Oct. 1, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at all the grocery stores on the island, as well as at its office, at 7808 SE 28th St. Last weekend, the MI Girls Lacrosse Team assisted with bagging the 25,000 bulbs that Coldwell Banker Bain will hand out this weekend. In addition to its annual bulb giveaway, Coldwell Banker Bain plants 7,000 flags along the main thoroughfares on the Island for the fourth of July.
