St. Patrick's Day is Saturday, and it is a day of celebrating Ireland and Irish heritage.

That doesn't mean that the celebration is limited to just Irish establishments (the Mercer Island Community & Event Center, for example, hosts an annual St. Patty's Day Senior Lunch).

While in Ireland, (akin to the American Thanksgiving), in the U.S., bars and restaurants of all kinds take the opportunity to raise a pint or two of Ireland's celebrated brews.
