Russian String Quartet to Perform at Mercer Island Presbyterian

The classical string quartet visiting from St. Petersburg, Russia will play music from Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.

 and the Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle will present the at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 23.

The program, with a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students, will include the Tchaikovsky Quartet No.2, and the famous Shostakovich Piano Quintet in G Minor. The musicians, visiting from St. Petersburg, Russia, will be making their only stop to perform their music in the Seattle-area at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church.

The musicians include Michael Bondarev (violin), Ekaterina Belisova (violin), Alexei Popov (viola), and Anton Andreev (cello), joined by Artistic Director and pianist Natalya Ageyeva.
