All homes should be well designed- on Mercer Island- and elsewhere- but lately they've not been- by a long shot. "Spec Builders" are putting up many of these "For-Sale" homes that will be around for years to come. Existing smaller homes are being bulldozed and remaining vacant lots are being filled with indifferent Spec. homes that will be poor choices for homebuyers at whatever prices. JG-
