The State Transportation SENATE Committee will meet at 1:30 pm today in Olympia.
This event will be shown live on the TVW.org website.
At 3:30 pm the State JOINT transportation committee will meet to try to reconcile the HOUSE and SENATE transportation bills.
Remember, the Senate bill is the one that nixes the I-90 toll as well as the Light Rail Columbia River Crossing project.
Judy Clibborn's House Transportation bill features tolling as well as the light rail project.
Governor Inslee's "Cap & Trade" initiative is a potential show stopper!
You can access the proposed bills here:

IF - and that is a big IF - they can reconcile the bills, then we might evade the I-90 toll for a few more years , but in my opinion it will come back to bite us as long as "pols" like Clibborn are re-elected!
