Razia's Shadow is an alt-rock musical born from a concept album released by the indie-rock band Forgive Durden in 2008. The musical tells the story of a world divided in two by the selfish actions of a powerful and egotistical, yet insecure angel. After generations of darkness, the world is eventually brought back together by the love and sacrifice of a couple brave enough to fulfill their destinies. This show will focus heavily on individual experimentation by the actors to flesh out their characters to the fullest extent, and each actor will be a part of a larger ensemble.
The first musical produced by Youth Experimental Theatre Institute (YETI), this show is entirely student produced. Under the leadership of Kyle Marshall and Carson Beck, and with the support of Youth Theatre Northwest, the Razia's Shadow team of young theatre artists are proud to present a live theater experience like no other.
Razia's Shadow will be the final production on the Youth Theatre Northwest mainstage—don't miss it.
Tickets will be available general admission, at the door only. $13 youth, $15 adult.
