MERCER ISLAND, WA - Police and local residents are trying to find the owner of a dog found wandering on Mercer Island this week. The female dog was found by a citizen behind the Mercer Island library. The dog has a chip, but it's not registered, and the clinic that inserted it does not keep records, police said.The dog is being taken care of by resident Blythe Houtzer.
