• Business Hero Award presented to North Beach Medical Equipment (thedailyworld.com) — North Beach Medical Equipment in Ocean Shores has been honored with a Community Business Hero Award for providing free medical equipment and supplies to more than 27,000 people since 2013. Funded entirely by donations, the nonprofit invites local residents to contribute money or gently used equipment to keep its "100% Off Sale" going at its Point Brown Avenue location.
