• Puget Sound Energy plans to raise rates. Thousands ask regulators to stop it (theolympian.com) — A Point Roberts resident was among dozens who traveled to Lacey to urge state regulators to reject Puget Sound Energy's proposed electric and gas rate hikes for 2027–2029. The plan could raise electric bills about 28% and gas bills 21% over three years, and locals can still join an online public hearing on October 7 to comment.
