26-Year-Old Killed In Tent Off I-5: Tacoma Police
A dog also suffered a serious injury, police said.
TACOMA, WA — A man was killed and a dog was hurt in a shooting mid-day Tuesday off Interstate 5, according to police.
The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. in the area of South 74th Street and Tacoma Mall Boulevard, police said. The 26-year-old victim had been in a tent when he was shot, according to police, who said he was declared dead at the scene.
The dog suffered a serious injury and was taken to an emergency veterinarian by a Tacoma animal control officer, police said.
