Police say the dispute started over a skateboard and involved teens as young as 12, with several people hit by spray before officers broke it up and made arrests.

Motorcyclist killed after crash in South Hill area, authorities say (thenewstribune.com) — A motorcyclist has died after a car-versus-motorcycle crash at 144th Street East and 94th Avenue East in Puyallup's South Hill area Wednesday afternoon. Central Pierce Fire & Rescue says the intersection will be partially blocked for hours, and drivers should expect significant traffic impacts while authorities investigate the fatal collision.
   

3. Council Reviews Homelessness Plan, Sewer Easement (tacomaweekly.com) — Tacoma is moving ahead with a massive $90.7 million sewer replacement along Puyallup Avenue that could involve condemning a small easement to reach underground pipes. City leaders also discussed a countywide homelessness strategy, legal support for ICE detainees, and housing tax breaks, with Puyallup and the Puyallup Tribe participating in broader Tideflats planning work that shapes the industrial waterfront's future.
