• Bus routes to and from Seattle are changing next month. Here's what to know (thenewstribune.com) — Bus riders in Puyallup face big changes starting August 29, including the end of Sound Transit's Route 580 between South Hill and the Puyallup Sounder station and schedule tweaks on Seattle express routes. You'll likely rely more on Pierce Transit's Route 400 and new connections through Federal Way and Lakewood, especially for airport and late-night Seattle trips.
• Family devastated after thieves steal classic Nintendo game collection worth $100K from Washington home (9news.com) — A Puyallup family is reeling after thieves broke into their home and stole more than 860 classic Nintendo games, a collection built over nearly 40 years and valued up to $100,000. The family has reported the burglary to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, upgraded security, and is pleading for whoever took the games to return them.
