• 15 dogs, 2 cats seized from unlicensed rescue in Puyallup; animal creulty investigation underway (kiro7.com) — An animal-cruelty investigation is underway after Pierce County Animal Control seized 15 dogs and two cats from a Puyallup home allegedly operating an unlicensed rescue. Officers say the animals were confined in small crates without food or water, and two dogs were injured. All 17 pets have now been moved to a licensed rescue for proper care and medical attention.

Olympia is coming off a 9–1 rout of Graham-Kapowsin, with Celeste Wilhelm and Mika Meconi each scoring hat tricks, setting up a high-scoring test on Puyallup's home turf.
