Come help Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity build decent, affordable homes in Pierce County, keep usable materials out of landfills and gain valuable retail experience by volunteering at our Store!
The Habitat for Humanity Store Tacoma/Pierce County is a Home Improvement Outlet (HIO) that sells new and gently used donated building materials and home improvement items at reduced prices. All proceeds from sales fund additional Habitat for Humanity homes in Pierce County. A Store volunteer is an integral part of helping the store run smoothly and effectively. The most valuable gift you can give us is your time. The following volunteer positions are available:
- cashier
- office support
- public relations/advertising
- donation pick-up
- showroom and warehouse sales
- pricing assistant
- warehouse unloading
- interior design
If you have any other skills or areas of expertise that you feel can benefit the Store, give us a call. We welcome all and would love to have you as a volunteer. Tell your friends and family about the volunteer opportunities at the Habitat Store.
