BJ's Puyallup makes us sick!!!
BJ's of Puyallup makes patrons who legally carry firearms leave their restaurant. No respect for law abiding citizens!
BJ's MADE US SICK!!!

Today, at this establishment, while accompanied by my Taiwanese business partners, I was treated like absolute vermin by a poorly educated person that has a name that can be either male or female, so I won't assume or speculate gender. The name of this person is Kelli (Kelli Beedle). Even though they do not have it posted, and after we ordered our food, Kelli told me that the establishment does not recognize the Washington State residents constitutional right to carry firearms and that I would need to go put it in my car (which is illegal).
Since I was there for a business meeting with some people from Taiwan, I politely told Kelli it was illegal and asked why they cannot serve me... and Kelli replied "It's just our policy". I then told Kelli that I was well within my Washington State rights to carry a firearm and that I have a license. Kelli then said "well, we can refuse service to anyone anyway. So, along with my business partners, I went next door to Red Robin...YUM! And they invited us in with open arms.In fact their manager laughed about it and said "don't they know what town they are in?"....and we had a great meeting! Life is too short to do business with people who do not respect our laws and our community.

I would like to say that if this is their stance on the 2nd amendment...They won't do good business in this town, And I fully intend on pushing for a boycott because it is the right thing to do. I have some online influencers and social media friends that would love to take this discrimination and utter lack of respect for me as not only a patron and a customer, but also a hard working, job creating, elected and upstanding pillar of the community, and run like crazy with it. And, not to mention Fox and friends...
Kelli was right...they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. However, they do not have a sign posted like Buffalo Wild Wings was forced to do (I took pictures). And they can't prove that I was the only one in there today carrying a firearm...So, it is now a discrimination case.

I am a true American and I stand by our laws and our community. We deserve better. In the mean time, my clients and I will enjoy Famous Dave's BBQ, Olive Garden, Red Robin, and even McDonalds or Subway if we have to, but I will not be bullied by a discriminatory, politically driven agenda by anyone or any corporation.
I hope that they can terminate Kelli's employment and assure me and the people of our great town that this is an isolated incident , and that BJs does not have a political stance, and that all people are welcome to enjoy their establishment. Otherwise, they should prepare for a decrease in sales and possible legal action.
